I was asked to make an absolutely terrible orientation video for the feature “Good Grief Suicide Hotline” starring George Faughnan. The film is set in the mid 90’s but we decided to take the commercial back to V/H/S quality to make it exceptional bad. It’s actually very difficult to edit poorly.
We created this 3D fly through for PURE Red creative to show how their database could be utilized to created ads on the fly for their customers.
The Studio Outpost shorts was screened November 16th, 2010. It was a collection of films that members of the Studio Outpost created over the last year. They include; Josh Wilcox’s “Sweatshop”, Dave Bruckner’s “One For The Road”, and Raymond Carr’s “Wild Is The Wind”. ROBOT! is a suite in the Studio Outpost that consistently gets abused for projects from get creatives. Greg Rose, Jason Köch and Michael McReynolds, created this intro for the screening and so ROBOT! could finally sit down, relax and watch a movie. It’s hard work being a ROBOT!
With zero time and no assets each year itaki makes a commercial for the A3C Hip Hop Fest. A3C is run by Andy Harrison; DJ Synthesis, Digital Wolf, and one of the members of Studio Outpost. His shizzy is bad nizzy. This one was created in Cinema 4D and colored and timed in After Effects. I’ve been trying to play with old TV graphics and footage more.
Produced by Brandikon (David Coston) and with The Dorn Brothers (Nate Dorn) this spot was all shot still and animated in After Effects. Sound was recorded by Jeremiah Kulani Prescot and designed by Michael McReynolds.
